M16 Disconnector
The M-16’s disconnector is a component that controls the firing function between single-action and full-auto modes of fire. This prevents the gun from continuously firing in single-action mode allowing the shooter to fire single shots, while allowing continuous firing in full-auto mode.
This disconnector cannot be used in AR15 receivers to convert them to full-auto and doing so is a violation of Federal Law.
