“F” marked forged front sight base Mil-Spec taller front sight base on flat top AR rifles and .750 diameter barrels. Designed to match the height of Mil-Spec height rear iron sights.
The front sight base on original M16, M16A1 and A2 are shorter than the FSB on flat top ARs. The removable handle and shorter carbine sight radius requires a taller FSB to maintain the correct point of aim – point of impact.

Note: Cross pin holes are not pre-drilled, do not come with any rivets, taper pins or sight parts.
