Limited Warranty

Luth-AR, LLC manufactured products are warranted for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship. All parts and labor or replacement, at our option, are covered. Government fees, damage caused by failure to perform normal maintenance, sales outside the United States, damage due to high velocity, high pressure, reloaded, or other non-standard ammunition, or any unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, abuse, or alteration of the product is not covered by this limited warranty. Consumable items such as gas rings, O’ rings, etc., are not warranted. Any product manufactured by a third party and sold by Luth-AR, will be covered under the third party warranty policy only.

Luth-AR, LLC complete assembled uppers will be warranted for a period of 1 (one) year after the complete upper was purchased. The warranty applies towards defects in materials or workmanship of the complete upper. Luth-AR will pay for all warranty repairs, at no charge to the consumer. Please supply a copy of the invoice for proof of purchase. The use of re-load ammunition, proof rounds, or factory ammunition that exceeds initial SAAMI specifications voids any warranty. Any repairs or modifications not done by Luth-AR also voids any warranty. Complete uppers not assembled or built by Luth-AR are not covered by the 1 (one) year warranty.

Please call our warranty department at (763) 276-1145 or email info@luth-ar.com for any warranty issues.

Alterations & Modifications Warning

Altering or modifying parts is dangerous and will void the warranty. This Luth-AR Upper/barrel  was manufactured to perform properly with the original parts as designed. It is your duty to make sure any parts you buy are made for this rifle and are installed correctly and that neither the originals nor the replacements are altered or changed. Your Luth-AR product is a complex precision tool with many parts that must relate correctly for proper and safe operation. Assembling a rifle improperly or with incorrect or modified parts can result in a damaged rifle, serious personal injury, or death to you and others through malfunction. Always have a qualified gunsmith work on your rifle, or verify proper assembly and function of any work not performed by a gunsmith.

Barrel Information Warning

To achieve the best results for accuracy you should clean the chamber and bore after every round for the first 25 rounds, then every 10 rounds up to 100 rounds. It usually takes about 200 rounds per barrel for optimum accuracy.

WHAT IF I HAVE DAMAGED MY PRODUCT?

Luth-AR is not responsible for replacing stocks that are damaged beyond normal wear and tear (such as constant butt slams when butt plate assembly is extended (spacers will help give more support with this), dropping from high levels, running product over with any machine/vehicle, customization, etc.).

If you feel the damaged caused was due to a defective product, we ask that you mail us back your product so we can review and determine the best solution going forward.

Questions or concerns about this, please contact us directly via email at info@luth-ar.com or call 763-276-1145 and we’ll do everything within reason to help you.

HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?

To make a return, please take the following steps:

1) Before returning defective products please contact us first at info@luth-ar.com.

2) Ship the item back in the original packaging. If that is not possible, please wrap the item in bubble wrap or other quality padding and place in an appropriate box. The item must be securely wrapped inside the box during transport as we cannot be responsible for shipping damages, and please obtain tracking information in case the package is lost in transit.

3) Include a note containing your name, shipping address, phone number and email, and reason for the return (including information about the firearm, ammo, and usage environment for defective returns). Please include a copy of the receipt if possible as well.

***Packages must be returned prepaid- we do not accept COD packages.

4) Send returned item(s) to:
Luth-AR
206 Capitol Dr

PROBLEMS WITH SHIPPING?

Luth-AR uses UPS as their primary shipping company to the lower 48 states and UPS/USPS for Hawaii and Alaska. If your package does not reach your destination, is stolen, or if applicable, is signed for by a different person, you must file a compliant with UPS or USPS directly. We will do everything we can to provide you all information regarding your shipment to help you resolve the situation.

Butt-Slamming Violates Warranty Recently we had a customer who wished for resolution on a broken MBA-3 Buttstock, after reviewing the photos that were sent to us, the photos confirmed that the stock was damaged/broken severely. It is clear that the damage indicated was not caused by anything other than negligence . Not even the postal service or UPS could have caused this damage. What caused the damage was a shooter who was either shooting junk ammo, a dirty chamber, a hot load, or a cheap extractor that causes the brass casing to stick in the chamber which in turn may cause the shooter to butt slam or mortar the butt stock/rifle onto the ground while engaging the charge handle latch, in most cases this may dislodge the stuck
casing out of the chamber.
Negligence of this kind does not justify any warranty reconciliation, in any product or industry.
Our butt stocks are designed to be adjustable, lightweight (using state of the art polymers that are designed for high impact) and affordable. Our logical thinking customers agree by the tens of thousands and we thank our supporting customers. Thank you to all of our current, and future, supporting customers.
Respectfully,
Randy Luth
